THE APPLICATION
The Precoat Lime Mud Disc Filter is used for lime mud washing and dewatering after recausticizing. It supports higher lime mud dryness, lower residual alkali and more stable downstream lime kiln or disposal conditions.
WORKING PRINCIPLE
A prepared precoat layer acts as the filtration medium. Vacuum draws liquor through the layer while lime mud solids are retained, washed, dewatered and discharged as the precoat surface is continuously refreshed.
